Edward is a mechanical engineer, educated in the UK with experience across a range of engineering disciplines in Europe, USA, Middle East, Africa, and Asia.
After a period of working in the UK, he moved to Abu Dhabi to join ALE Middle East, where he worked for over 12 years as the regional General Manager for the group. Edward briefly returned to the UK heading up EPC projects and consultancy services in projects, operations, quality management and offshore renewables, before joining Roll Group in 2022.
Edward is the Managing Director for Roll Group in the Americas and is based full time out of Roll-Lift’s USA head office in Dayton, Texas. He has a passion for innovation and problem solving and specializes in delivering large scale and complex oil & gas, petrochemical and power projects. He also has vast experience in civil infrastructure, ports, maritime and renewables.
Following on from the sector updates presented in the previous session, this panel will look at what this outlook means for the breakbulk industry who will be servicing these projects moving forward. With a shift in projects, comes new unique requirements from skillsets to workforce, legislation, and funding - all serious considerations the industry needs to tackle.
